AI Use & Client Content Policy

Last Updated: September 2026

Amplify Marketing Services LLC (“Amplify”) does not use our clients' books, manuscripts, illustrations, or other protected creative works for the purpose of training or fine-tuning generative AI or large language models (LLMs), nor do we use those materials to generate content intended to imitate an author’s, illustrator’s, artist’s, or other creator’s distinctive work or style.

Amplify may use or upload such materials to an AI-enabled tool when a client expressly requests or authorizes such use in writing, including by email, for a specific purpose. In those circumstances, Amplify's use of the materials will be limited to the specific purpose authorized by the client.

Amplify does use technology, including artificial intelligence and AI-enabled tools, to support advertising strategy, research, analysis, campaign management, creative development, reporting, and optimization for our clients.

As artificial intelligence and machine learning become increasingly integrated into advertising platforms and business software, we believe it is important to be transparent about how we use these technologies, how we handle client content, and the distinction between using AI as a marketing tool and using protected creative works to train generative AI.

These protections are particularly important in our work with publishers and organizations entrusted with the intellectual property of authors, illustrators, and other creators.

How We Use AI

Amplify may use AI-enabled tools as part of our normal work for clients. These tools assist our team; they do not replace the professional judgment and oversight of our employees.

AI-assisted uses may include:

  • Keyword, search-term, and product-targeting research

  • Audience and interest research

  • Competitive and marketplace research

  • Product positioning and marketing strategy

  • Advertising strategy and campaign planning

  • Analysis of advertising, sales, and product-performance data

  • Identification of optimization opportunities

  • Brainstorming and development of advertising copy, headlines, messaging, and other marketing materials

  • Metadata and product detail page recommendations

  • Summarizing, organizing, or analyzing information

  • Drafting and refining reports, recommendations, presentations, and client communications

  • Other research, analytical, and marketing-support activities

Amplify personnel remain responsible for reviewing and applying AI-assisted research, analysis, recommendations, and content used in our work.

Information Used in AI-Assisted Work

When using AI-enabled tools for research, analysis, and optimization, Amplify may use information ordinarily associated with marketing and advertising activities. This may include publicly available book and product information, advertising campaign data, performance reports, keywords and search terms, product identifiers, marketing copy, advertising creative, spreadsheets, screenshots, and similar marketing or performance information.

Amplify uses this information to support services such as research, analysis, strategy, advertising, reporting, optimization, and creative development. Use of information in an AI-enabled tool for these purposes is not intended to train or fine-tune an AI model or to create derivative works based on a client's protected creative work.

Manuscripts, unpublished book content, illustrations, and other protected creative works are not included in Amplify's routine AI-assisted workflows. As described in this policy, Amplify may use or upload such materials only when a client expressly requests or authorizes such use in writing for a specific purpose.

Publicly Available Information

Advertising research and optimization routinely involve publicly available information about books, products, organizations, competitors, and markets.

Amplify may use AI-enabled tools to research, analyze, organize, or develop recommendations from publicly available information, including:

  • Titles and subtitles

  • ISBNs, ASINs, and other product identifiers

  • Product descriptions and retail listings

  • Categories and classifications

  • Pricing and promotions

  • Reviews and ratings

  • Sales rankings and other publicly visible marketplace data

  • Keywords and search information

  • Competitor and comparable-product information

  • Websites and other publicly available marketing materials

This information may be used in developing advertising strategies, targeting recommendations, metadata recommendations, positioning, creative concepts, and other marketing recommendations.

Advertising, Analytics, and Marketing Platforms

Many of the advertising and marketing platforms used by Amplify incorporate artificial intelligence, machine learning, automated bidding, predictive modeling, recommendation systems, generative capabilities, or other automated technologies.

These capabilities may be incorporated into advertising platforms, campaign-management software, analytics and reporting systems, research tools, and other technology used in providing our services.

Amplify may use standard functionality provided by these platforms for purposes including campaign management, targeting, bidding, budgeting, measurement, optimization, research, reporting, and creative development.

Use of these technologies does not, by itself, mean that Amplify is using client materials for the purpose of training generative AI models.

Generative AI and Marketing Creative

Amplify may use generative AI as a tool to assist with brainstorming, copy development, marketing concepts, advertising creative, or other marketing-related work when appropriate.

However, Amplify does not intentionally use client-provided manuscripts, illustrations, or other protected creator works to instruct generative AI to reproduce or imitate the distinctive work or style of a particular author, illustrator, artist, or other creator.

Where a client has provided specific requirements or restrictions concerning the use of its protected creative materials with generative AI, Amplify will follow applicable requirements governing the services we provide to that client.

Third-Party Tools and Services

Amplify uses third-party technology providers in the delivery of its services. These providers maintain their own terms of service, privacy policies, security practices, data-use policies, and policies concerning artificial intelligence and machine learning.

Amplify seeks to use appropriate business-grade technology and data controls when client information is processed through AI-enabled systems. The handling, retention, and processing of information by third-party technology providers is also subject to the applicable provider's terms, privacy policies, security practices, and data controls.

Where appropriate, Amplify can provide clients with information about primary third-party systems used in support of their accounts so that clients may review applicable policies directly.

Third-party technologies and their policies change over time. Amplify may therefore update the technologies it uses and this policy as technology, industry practices, and our services evolve.

About This Policy

This policy describes the current operational practices of Amplify regarding artificial intelligence and client content. It is provided for informational purposes and does not amend, replace, or supersede the terms of any individual client agreement.
